This memorial website was created to remember our dearest Summer Phelps who was born in Washington on July 6, 2002 and passed away on March 10, 2007. You will live forever in our memories and hearts.
Summer was an amazing little girl. She was the light in the dark sky. She was the brighest star in the dark sky. When summer would walk into a room her smile would light it up. You knew everything was going to be ok. Summer had so many dreams and hopes. She loved everybody and everything. Summer is my heart.
On March 10th of 2007, all her dreams and hope were ripped away. Summer was murdered by her father and step-mother. They abused her to death. This went on for about 3 month. They did things to her that they would to a prisoner of war. It was the worst case of child abuse that anybody has ever seen. There was also a baby in the house that she loved and protected. They have never said why they did this. I wish we could know, know why this happened. Why they thought her life was so unimportant. Why did they play God and decide that she had to die? She loved them. She wanted to be with them. All she wanted was to be loved back by them.
Summer is my all. She completed me. She was my hero. She gave me strength. Summer was the reason on why i wanted to better myself. She is my world. She is my life. I am not the same without her. I love and miss her more and more by the day. I know now she is not hurting. She is looking down on me and guiding me threw life. Summer saved me in ways i can't explain.
I love you Summer Marie. Thank you for all the lessons you tought me. You are my angel. Thank you
